Mounjaro (tirzepatide) 2.5 mg, 5 mg per 0.5 mL injection, is a prescription medicine for adults with type 2 diabetes used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose). It is not known if Mounjaro can be used in people who have had pancreatitis. Mounjaro is not for use in people with type 1 diabetes. It is not known if Mounjaro is safe and effective for use in children under 18 years of age.1

It is a single molecule designed to bind to glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists.2

Mounjaro represents a different class of medicines introduced for adults with type 2 diabetes. It works differently by directly activating GIP and GLP-1 pathways to help regulate blood sugar.

LEUCORIN 15MG TABLET contains Leucovorin Calcium, which belongs to the group of medicines called Folic acid analogs. LEUCORIN 15MG TABLET is used to increase folic acid levels in the body, whereas methotrexate (medicine) lowers folic acid levels in the body. It is therefore used to counteract this and support the maintenance of folic acid levels. This  is  known  as Leucovorin rescue. This medicine is also used to manage a form of anaemia (megaloblastic) which results from low levels of folic acid.

Your doctor may advise to do routine blood tests to evaluate and monitor your health condition. LEUCORIN 15MG TABLET is generally not recommended for use in patients with pernicious anaemia or other megaloblastic anaemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. LEUCORIN 15MG TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

LEUCORIN 15MG TABLET is generally safe medicine to use with no common side effects if taken in the right amount. Contact your doctor if you experience any unusual side effects.

Symptoms may include less sexual desire, trouble getting and keeping an erection, and pain during intercourse. Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml is also used as an adjunct to other diagnostic tests in the diagnosis of erectile dysfunction.

Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml contains ‘Alprostadil, which belongs to the class of vasodilators. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis; and allows the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Thereby, it helps to treat erectile dysfunction.

Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml may cause certain side effects such as pain or aching in the penis, breakage of the needle, burning sensation in the opening of the urinary opening of the penis, redness of the penis, and prolonged erection. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if you experience these side effects persistently, consult your doctor immediately. Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml should be administered as prescribed by your doctor. Before administration, read the label carefully.

Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml should be avoided if you are allergic to it or other components present in it. This medicine is contraindicated in conditions such as sickle cell anemia or sickle cell trait, multiple myeloma, leukemia, cavernosal fibrosis, and penile implants, as it can lead to serious side effects. Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml is only recommended for use in men; hence, the use of this medicine in women and children should be avoided. Inform your doctor if you have/had heart problems or stroke, low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure, liver/kidney and penile fibrosis. Alpostin 500 mcg Injection 1 ml may cause dizziness, so avoid driving, as it can make you dizzy. Avoid consuming alcohol as it may cause increased dizziness and other unusual side effects.
